GHRC SSM/I Subsetter

This site allows you to select data from our current on-line 10-day holdings of SSM/I swath data. Each day contains 28 or 29 passes (or swaths.) After selecting a region of interest and the desired dates, the pass files containing data in your region of interest will be staged to an anonymous ftp location for you to "pick-up" within the next 4 days.
Note that if you choose "the tropics" (all longitudes) - you will still receive all 28 (or 29) passes. In other words - that's not really subsetting!

IMPORTANT: For subsetting requests of data prior to the last 10 days - contact GHRC User Services

Enter your last name only. A directory with this name will be created in the "/outgoing" directory on our anonymous ftp server.

User Name

Enter a name for the subdirectory within the directory created above. This will be useful if you submit more than one job for different regions or projects, e.g., Mediterranean, Southeast, NorthCalif, Exprmt-23, Case1, etc.

Enter your E-mail address. You will be sent a completion message with instructions about retrieving the data.
